Hello,
We’re only one week from Community Engagement Week of Action, and we look forward to working together to engage new people across the state.
De Pere Action Team Launch: Join us for the official launch of our De Pere Neighborhood Action Team — a grassroots initiative powered by neighbors, for neighbors. This event marks the beginning of a movement to build people-powered progress right here in our community. Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or just looking to get involved, this is your chance to meet like-minded folks, learn about our strategy for the 2026 elections, and take the first step toward meaningful local action. To sign up, click here!
Voter Contact Basics with the Winnebago County Democrats: Ever wonder what people have been thinking about the past 100 days of this administration? If you’re wondering if voters are having buyers’ remorse, now is the time to find out! In this presentation/training, we will be covering what direct voter contact is, why it’s important, why it works, why we need to do it not only during election years but year-round, and, more importantly, what we can do as a county party in order for you to feel safe and comfortable in talking to voters! After the presentation, we will partner you up with an experienced canvasser to test out your newly-learned skills! Do not worry, we will assure you that you will not go out alone for your first time! To sign up, click here!
Weekly Public Engagement Outreach Trainings with the Brown County Democrats: It’s almost summer! Time for the county fair as well as farmers markets and festivals! There are a lot of events all throughout the spring and summer where we will be able to engage voters and identify new Democratic and progressive supporters, as well as opportunities to have them find out more about the county party! We will be providing weekly trainings on how to effectively engage with voters in areas where there is a lot of foot traffic! To sign up for a training, click here!
Canvassing Best Practices Listening Session with the Manitowoc County Democrats: Join us for a listening session with the Manitowoc County Democrats! As we prepare for the spring and fall elections next year, we want to hear from you on how we can hone our trainings and messaging to be more effective on talking to voters all across the county! This listening session is open to veteran canvassers, as well as for people who have never canvassed before! To join us for this event, click here!
Green Bay High School Democrats Meeting: If you have a high-schooler in the Green Bay area who wants to get involved with the High School Democrats, have them join this event! At this kickoff meeting, we’ll introduce what High School Democrats is all about, talk about opportunities to get involved in local and national politics, brainstorm ideas for events, activism, and voter outreach, elect or nominate leadership roles and get to know other students who care about issues like climate change, equality, education, and democracy! Click here to help the high schooler in your life signed up!
Our coordinated campaign phase 3 briefing was this past week, on 5/7! Please let me know if you would like to be sent the recording or slide deck.
If you are interested in being a delegate to the 2025 state convention in June, you can find more information here!
In the meantime, here is our 2025 Organizing Calendar that goes over key dates and top priorities for our ongoing phases of the campaign. I’m looking forward to connecting with you to plan for the rest of this year!
Best,
