Lakeshore CAP Gets 241 lbs of Food from DP-DC

DP-DC joined other County Democratic Parties across the state who participated in a charitable week-of-action May 21 thru 27. Locally, Lakeshore CAP received 240 pounds of non-perishable food collected by volunteer Democrats organized and lead by Kris Sadur, Chairperson of the Democratic Party of Door County. Promotions on our website (doordems.org), Facebook page and a mass emailing encouraged donors to deliver food at our Sturgeon Bay office, and a satellite location in Sister Bay. Up North we asked people to drop off their donations at the Peach Barn in Sister Bay. In Sturgeon Bay we had a parking lot drive through at the Epicenter (DP-DC office location).
